A Chance To Flip a Red House Seat Blue

A special election to replace George Santos in Congress is coming up in just weeks

A few times during 2024, I will post a special edition of this newsletter where I will be asking for you to reach for your wallets in defense of democracy. Tonight is the first of those times. My sleeves are rolled up—are you ready to join me and take an important step in 2024 to help preserve our Republic?

The first big contest is already underway! We need to win back the House seat vacated by George Santos, who gained his seat through fraud. His was a Republican-held seat in NY-3, a district won by Biden in 2020. So it is VERY flippable, and that would narrow their majority even further.

Both parties are going all out to show their strength, and I know many here have been ITCHING for an opportunity to show how determined we are.

I am working with my friends at the Greater New York Human Rights Campaign (HRC) to help make that seat flip a reality. The Special Election is coming up in six weeks on Feb. 13, 2024, and HRC has endorsed former Congressman Tom Suozzi to win this PRIORITY race. Fundraising is critical to help make that happen.
