Thanks for the well reasoned pep talk and helping to put our despair in perspective, Jay, but I do have a few nits to pick. First, in your parenthetical comment . . .

"(i.e. Jewish) conspiracies, which also tend to be about child exploitation. Fearmongers know that their message, when packaged as one seeking to save the children, can gain wider acceptance because it appears benevolent. Who wouldn’t want to protect children, after all?,"

. . . I really wish that you had put "Jewish" in quotes, and maybe used e.g. instead of i.e. So called "Jewish conspiracies" are by no means the only sort of globalist plots that conspiracy mongers love to peddle, so this should be described as an example rather than an "in other words." Moreover, I didn't quite get your point in these sentences. It seems to me that while the right-wing conspiracy mongering does often feature children as innocent victims, the overriding accusation has more to do with sinister cabals that secretly control governments, media, and pretty much everything else, e.g., the "Deep State."

My other concern is that I think you concede too easily the assumption that Republicans will likely regain control of Congress. Yes, they do have many unfair mathematical advantages, but they don't have the overall majority, and the Dems will have many opportunities to exploit the *fact* that the GOP is doing all they can to keep minorities from voting, impede popular programs (e.g., prescription medicine price controls is a big one), prevent obvious law breakers from being punished, and much more. As usual, the biggest obstacle Dems face is their own poor salesmanship and unwillingness to go for the jugular.
