I’m thrilled to announce, at long last, that MA IN ALL CAPS is now available for pre-order on Kindle!
I began working on this memoir (or rather, Ma-moir) during pandemic. It was an important way for me to feel connected to Ma in spirit even while she was in lockdown in California.
Over many decades, Ma and other members of our family told stories that became Kuo family lore, and I selected many of them for this book. Also included are several conversations I had with Ma, as verbatim as I could jot them down at the time. (Her hilarious words have appeared frequently on Facebook to the delight of tens of thousands!)
Now that MA IN ALL CAPS is available for electronic copy pre-order, here’s where you can help support my efforts. I would love to crack “top 10” in whatever category MA IN ALL CAPS qualifies for, whether biography, wit/humor, or non-fiction. Pre-order sales all go toward that initial launch number, and my goal is to receive thousands and have a shot at grabbing the attention of critics and distributors.
A paperback and hardback version will be available at launch, which is now set of November 8, 2023. I am working on how to take certain orders for autographed copies, so hang tight if you’re interested! (But pre-order the Kindle version anyway lol.)
I like to think of MA IN ALL CAPS as Amy Tan meets David Sedaris, a book that sweeps across continents and generations but also holds you in real-time conversation with the irrepressible Ma. I hope you find it as enjoyable as I did while penning it.
Okay. Are you ready to help me get on the top 10 boards? Put in your Kindle pre-order for MA IN ALL CAPS today! And if you don’t have a Kindle account yet, this is a great opportunity to get one and help save a few trees. Click the order button below:
Finally, thanks for your continued encouragement and patience as this book has come together. Special thanks to Rob Pivarnik and Kinnari Shah, who tirelessly helped bring the final polish to it.
