You can’t spell felon without Elon. My civil service colleagues and I are gathering evidence of his many crimes. The muskrat and his minions are walking into our traps: https://democracydefender2025.substack.com/p/no-one-elected-elon

We all know that if given any information, Musk will cheerfully pass it on to Xi in a heartbeat. After all, Teslas and Tesla's profits are more important than anyone's lives... And Musk has no loyalty to anything but himself. And maybe his mommy, who keeps telling everyone what a genius he is. No, lady, you raised a monster.

You don't think trump hasn't already done that? Trump had checking accounts in China when he was in office the first time and Ivanka had all the stuff she manufactured there to sell to department store manufactured there. Then we have a 20 percent tariff on China. And they are the largest manufacturer of Fentenoyl India Third with Mexico in second place and India has no, zero, tarries. So it is about punishing who trumpvwants to

The real problem is Musk's obvious personality issues coupled with his drug use. Jay hit the nail on the head with "what would he do on a Ketamine high?" He's clearly nervous about the State of Tesla (likely increasing his Ketamine use), he bumbles from one thing to the next with the Tesla board calling for his removal as CEO, his mis-use of his children, his non-response to Canada's response to both Starlink and Tesla, not to mention the "rapid disassembly" of his rockets. He's an autistic adolescent with a drug problem and it absolutely befuddles me why people continue to allow this.

I think it's his egomania combined with drug addiction that's the threat, as opposed to his autism.

Sooz Hall's avatar

I respectfully disagree. I regard a coup as a bad idea for two reasons: 1) even if successful it sets a horrific precedent for this country and 2) let’s say General Joseph Honorable and Major Gordon Good manage to stage a successful and almost completely bloodless coup. Then Major General Good and General Honorable are traveling, in separate vehicles, to Congress to talk about the plans for immediately returning the governance of the country back to Congress and the people of the United States. Unfortunately, by some incredibly odd and strange accident of fate, both of them are killed when a giant heavy trash truck crashed into one vehicle and a loaded cement truck crashes into the other, destroy the vehicles and the generals. The next two ranking officers are Lieutenant Generals Beau Margget and Bill Winslow. Strangely enough, Beau and Bill were the two generals who were probably least enthusiastic about the coup attempt. Isn’t that surprising? They will now go to Congress and say that clearly something odd happened to Major General Gordon Good and General Joseph Honorable, and so the military needs to stay in control for a little while longer. Not very long, of course, but a while. Control will be returned to civilian authorities in a while. A little while. It’ll be soon. Pretty soon. Someday.

"both of them are killed when a giant heavy trash truck crashed into one vehicle and a loaded cement truck crashes into the other, destroy the vehicles and the generals" That's absurd. If there was a military coup, you're not giving much credit to the planners. A trash truck and a cement truck? Were you ever in the military? I respectfully think not.

Um, “an informal meeting about innovation, efficiencies & smarter production”?

Musk has struggled mightily with innovation, earning a reputation for over promising and under delivering.

Musk hasn’t identified *any* efficiency improvements so far. Why would that suddenly change. Is Musk talking about improving the efficiency of him getting defense contracts?

What does “smarter production” mean in a strategy and tactical meeting? What would smarter production mean in a national defense context? Our military doesn’t produce armaments.

It's not enough to demonize the courts (judges) and actively dismantle the departments that serve the people. Now the regime is ready to give musk illegal access to our most sensitive military plans and jeopardize our own military and worldwide security? The potential conflicts of interest are mind boggling. The courts are angry. The people are angry. Will the spineless Republicans in the Senate--especially the ones who claim that ensuring our national security is paramount--finally stand up when they realize that trump and musk are willing to sacrifice our military and potentially worldwide stability--not to mention their own constitutional powers? And will they stand up before it's too late?

I seriously doubt it. Look what happened when drumpf took all the classified and top secret dox off to MoteLago. Not a damn thing thanks to a hand picked MAGAt judge. Then he turned right around an flew them all back to his flop house in FL. These 2 know nothing about the military. One thing you can bet on is there are higher-ups, career military officers, that are not going to take any of this laying down. There is a groundswell. Hide and watch. Republicans are all boot lickers scared shitless that they might get primaried if they dare uphold their oath of office and lose the cushy position they have.
