Summer Special!

I’ve got just enough signal here to pop up, wish you all a wonderful summer, and let you know my batteries are recharging well on my annual summer break.

It’s a bit scary as a writer to any take time off, because each day you don’t write is a day without new possible supporters. Vacations become twice the cost because there’s the trip itself plus a whole week without any paid subscriptions coming in. You feel guilty for having spent the time, and for even more asking for more support given that you’re on vacation!

But this time away from politics and writing is good for my spirits, ensuring that I don’t burn out. I deeply appreciate those who understand why uninterrupted time with dear friends on our annual trip is so special and reinvigorating! (Twelve on a boat means some VERY close quarters. It’s a good thing we’re all used to each other!)

I’m continuing my summer Indictment special this week, with a chance to show your appreciation for my efforts throughout the year and to add your mojo to our collective hopes for legal accountability for the ex-President and his cronies!
