Taking the Day
My sister Mimi and I have a very special bond. One of the reasons I look so forward to each holiday season is that I get to see more of her, even if she lives way over in the U.K. now. (And side note, doesn’t she look incredibly like Ma?!)
I’m taking today off because it’s my last day here in North Carolina with her and my brother-in-law Aaron. We’re going to do some hiking and squeeze in as much together time as we can. It’s great when family member are also among your best friends.
