The Week Ahead and Your Questions

I’ll be poking my head up periodically from our opening week here in London for George Takei’s Allegiance to write about what’s happening back across the pond in America.

A few things I’ve got my eye on already:

1. Will Fani Willis’s grand jury issue indictments? They supposedly meet on Tuesday. Is the report a bust or a bonanza? Anyone else on pins and needles?

2. What further fallout will there be from the “drip drip” of more Obama-Biden era documents marked classified still being discovered? And can’t they please just find them all now so this stops filling the darned headlines?

3. The government’s debt ceiling gets hit this week on the 19th. There will be emergency measures to fund it going forward, but those can only stretch till June or so. Will the GOP-led House really tank the economy to try and get its way? What are its demands, and how will the White House likely respond?

4. There are rumblings that indictments may also begin issuing from the D.C. grand juries later this month. How credible are those reports, and who might be the first to face Jack Smith’s fire?

5. Is there enough evidence to take down George Anthony Zebrovsky Devolder Santos? How could this play out? Who in the GOP knew about Santos, and when did they know it?
