He also has Liz Cheney, who now, thanks to trump, has zero f*ucks to give, on his tail. I'm not overly hopeful, yet, but, I'm not as dismayed as I was. I'd like to see Liz, just burn the GOP to the ground. Yes, we need at least 2 parties, but, the current crop of Republicans, shouldn't be one of them. Stay tuned...

I agree that Trump, like many mafia criminals, has gotten away with and insulated himself from exposure to numerous financial crimes. I hope the political system and the laws pertaining to that system produce some indictments and with luck some convictions. If not, our whole system is in serious trouble. Remember also that Jr., Eric, Ivanka, and Jared are all complicit in many of these potential crimes, both financial and political.

What are the chances that civil convictions will essentially bankrupt Trump, and make it him wholly unable to access lines of credit to keep his "businesses" afloat? Businesses run on cash, and I have a sneaking suspicion that Trump's properties have been bleeding cash for years. He has some huge loans coming due, and if he can't find financing, he'll be out of business forever.

Trump, personally wrote checks for children of employees so they could go to the best schools. they also lived rent free in any of Trump's apartments until they squealed on him. Then they were kicked out of the school and out of their homes. Trump knew all this was going on.

As a "normal" citizen if I take my taxes to the Sir Shady Accounting firm and they do my taxes and I sign them, I'm accountable. Just like anything you sign, a contract, taxes, whatever- just because you don't read it doesn't make you not accountable for what you just signed. So I sign my taxes as being "correct" and the IRS finds they are not I am accountable. So why isn't he? I mean I do get that being audited by the IRS and them saying my taxes are wrong and I owe them money isn't the same as a criminal case but how can he not be held accountable? His business, his signature, his problem. Honestly just the fact that he has this huge business and doesn't keep any kind of records or paper trail is proof he knows what he's doing is wrong.... and yes I know that's hard to prove.
