Loved George’s piece on the way the wheels of Justice grind. And I’ll looking forward to your piece on the inexplicable “grooming” obsession. QAnon has long been known for dragging folks down its honey badger hole with “save the children” appeals. Does it go back further? And isn’t it ironic that all this “don’t endanger children” crap is growing amidst the also growing revelations about use of child labor.

It goes back very far, sadly. As I researched it, I was reminded of that fact.

Looking forward to your work product Jay in any format; I subscribed to The Big Picture. Ready for Launch.

I've optimistically subscribed to both with annual subs. I've withheld my "Like," however, because I'm just hoping that you have not bitten off more than you can chew. I'd hate to see The Status Kuo get watered down.

I will step it up!

I'm just hoping you can maintain the high level that you have established without siphoning off your energies too much - and without burning yourself out.

Thanks for the heads-up and the discount rate. Such a worthy and satisfying cause of "justice and our democracy."

Happily subscribed to both. Want to gift to others for a year but am concerned that subscriptions will auto renew. How do I prevent that as I am sure my friends will subscribe on their own, especially as we enter the trying times of an election year? TIA

Let me see if you can put in less than $500 in the box. If not I can have them enable it.

I subscribed to the Big Picture using the first (nonfunctional) discount code, shortly before you sent out the correction. Substack's support functions are pretty useless for this situation. Can you help?

Steve, you can communicate with Substack Inc by using the three dot ( ... ) function. I already reported the discount-code error issue this am Pacific time to Substack central. :)

Thanks. I just read in other comments that Jay offered to forward this issue to the Substack managers to fix the problem if one emails him, so I've followed that route. It will work out one way or another. If this is the worst problem of the week, we're fortunate ;-)
