I very much look forward to reading of Roger Stone's demise after his long prison term.

There were so many people involved from tRump's band of miscreants. The justice department will deal with them in due time. However, what's even scarier--aside from how close they came to actually succeeding in overturning the election--is that there are still millions of Americans who think that this is a-okay. That what happened in the days leading up to January 6th and in the following days is just normal political business, that tRump and his 'Hole in the Head Gang' were just protecting him, doing what was right in the interest of 'what people wanted' and fighting against a 'fraudulent election.' Even though the matter had been investigated by both the Dems and the Repubs and NO FRAUD was found, certainly not on the level that would've changed the course of the election. And what fraud was found was found to have been Republicans voting twice/submitting ballots for people who'd passed away/etc.

These millions of people who are still convinced that the election was stolen from tRump are the ones we need to fear. Not these damn clowns who rallied around tRump. They're powerless. YES, they need to be dealt a punishment for their actions pertaining to the Big Lie and the attempt at overturning the election, but the bigger problem moving forward are these people who think this was a necessary action due to "fraud." I think we need to be afraid of these people who staunchly support tRump, even though the numbers have dropped, they're still dangerous and with the right backing, they can rise again. Those who are being investigated, and those who've been (and will be) found guilty need to have the stiffest penalties dealt to deter those who are considering further traitorous behavior. First, we need to deal with those who are INVOLVED IN OUR GOVERNMENT who acted behind the scenes, and who are still stoking the fires under those who still feel as though the election was stolen from tRump. Fry those f**kers.

Thank you so much, Jay, for finally avoiding the the unjustifiably elevating term "conspiracy theorist:"

"Stone also worked with disgraced Ret. Gen. Michael Flynn, an election conspiracy peddler and a chief proponent of Trump."

Please continue this practice and remove that intellectually offensive expression from your stylebook permanently.

The 'theory' of conspiracy has been disproven repeatedly. It's time to get down to throwing the book at these people. Let's get this party started.

It has started, most notably by the Jan 6 investigation and the promised televised hearings and the publicly reported trials that it has spawned. Just as Putin's insane aggression has forced them to back off their Putin-boosting, the right wing media will soon have to back away from much of their lying election and insurrection rhetoric in the face of court-proven facts.

Very true. All of it. But I'm referring to the members of Congress who were working behind the scenes to help this insurrection actually get to the point it had, breaching the building, congresspersons' offices, destroying property... It would've never gotten that far had the insurrectionists didn't have someone (or some"ones") on the inside. It's been discussed that there were those who hosted tours in the days leading up to the insurrection. Roast those f**kers, for starters. We know who they are, and their days are numbered.

You're right about them, and I hope you're right about what happens to them. Maybe I'm putting too much faith in the Jan 6 investigations and the DOJ - Lord knows I did with the Mueller investigation and the two impeachments - but it would be nice to think that enough voters will wake up as a result of all this to throw these anti-democratic bums out.

It just boggles the mind to know that there are people who are just fine with this. Had the shoe been on the other foot (Dems staging an insurrection, Dem members of Congress conducting tours to facilitate said insurrection, along with all the other stuff we know about and don't yet know about to help facilitate said insurrection) there'd be hell to pay. How is it that they're so cool with two sets of rules? Do they not see their hypocrisy? Do they not feel that hypocrisy should be called out? So damn frustrating. Founding fathers must be flipping and spinning in their graves.

I think we need to ban the use of testosterone for a generation or so just to detox the males who believe they're giants, but are actually ants.

I just have say, if not for you, I wouldn’t understand a lot of what’s going on. You explain these situations so well, I feel like I really gain clarity, so thank you.

Satus Kuo, thank you for pinpointing the overt acts of Co-conspirators Numbers 1 through 7. Stop the sedition.

Ummm. I applaud your humor, but I must remind you that some of the most egregious nasties in Congress - and I'm not just talking about the obvious mean girls, Boebert and Greene - are women. Though maybe you're right about their testosterone levels. LOL
