A cheering development, one which as this article hints could have serious implications for legal action against The Former Guy. Trump's concerns over leaks and security of his data has veered from paranoid threats against leakers through his cavalier approach to using unsecured devices from which he issued incoherent, self-incriminating tweets and posts.
I bet he had zero understanding of Mr Donoghue's role (after all, he had no previous government experience and daily displayed ignorance on how government works), and I am hoping that will come back to haunt him.
For the record, my personal opinion is that Trump has responsibility for fomenting events of 6 January, and must be held responsible for every act of vandalism, every injury and every loss of life that flowed from the attempt at insurrection.
Nice to meet you Mr Donoghue; may we hear a great deal from you and about your work in future, preferably in court testimony.
I am so thankful we had persons of integrity in those crucial positions, but am shuddering at the thought that anfailed, coup attempt only provides the lessons learned for the next, possibly successful one. Our democracy is indeed in peril
Please tell me that Clark is not longer at DOJ. He should be in prison, they all should, from trump on down. This is insanity that any of this was allowed to happen. A good deal of the responsibility falls on the Republican party. They are coconspirators and need to be removed from office as well. It's like we're living in some dystopian mafia movie. If these people aren't held fully accountable for all of this, then we aren't the nation of "law and order" that we pretend to be.

A case can be made, that the insurrection failed because the 'inner circle', then and now, can't find their ass with both hands and a flashlight.

Many people are asking why he hasn’t been charged.
