It's a serious problem, which is why we need to win in numbers too big to rig. I'm sure Jay knows this, but the DNC and the Harris/Walz campaign has teamed up with the Georgia Democratic Party to sue over the changes. Also even the Governor of Georgia is looking to fire the maga election board members.

Are there numbers too big to rig as far as the MAGAts are concerned? I'm concerned about "keeping the win.:

Yes there are numbers too big to rig. It's because even if a maga election manager for a county or two refuse to certify their part of the election their part of the process can be left out and we still win. They already tried this in Arizona in 2022, a couple of holdouts almost cost them a few congressional seats.

Sure they will fight every win, but in the end they only have control of two swing states, Georgia and Nevada; and they don't have complete control in Nevada.

Not sure if the GA governor and SecState are totally on board with these Election Board games...seems to be some pushback, and citing of state law that mandates "ministerial functions only" for county voting officials during vote "canvassing". But who knows how Kemp and Raffensperger will respond when the denialists go full-on during the count or certification, especially in a very close Harris-Walz win?

This is why it's not only important to win by "sizable" margins in the states, but also win the electoral college by more than one state. It may be possible to pull a stunt in one state, but overturning the will of the people in two states is much harder to pull off. But the most important thing we can do now is help increase the margin of victory so any scheme will look much more like a dead end.

There are three great songs that mention Georgia by Brook Benton, Ray Charles and Gladys Knight. Ray and Brook are gone but we must warn Gladys to not let her man get on that midnight train.

Kemp has just said that he wants the three Trump chosen members on the election committee gone. Looks like his detente with Mr. T is over.

It's difficult to understand why some county election officials and a state board can corrupt a national presidential election with no federal authority able to slap them down fast. I don't believe the Constitution gives states the right to do more than select the time and locations of elections. Manipulating election outcomes strikes me as another form of insurrection. The clear message is: convert The Federal Election Commission into an election oversight authority. Maybe after Kamala, Tim win the election and Dems get majorities in both Houses

Elise Stefanik said in January that GOP wouldn't certify results unless he won. Recently, the Convicted Felons has been saying he already has all the votes he needs.

Hyperbole? Perhaps.

Under the 12th Amendment--used just once, in 1824--the House of Representatives picks the Prez if no candidate gets 50% + 1 needed for EC victory.

Here's the key: each STATE gets ONE vote.

Guess which party controls majority of state delegations in the House?

How in the heck would they pick which rep for each state?

One can hope that Harris/Wals will receive as many if not more electoral votes as Reagan did.

Jay, you make all these matters crystal clear for the rest of us! The Ds are finally starting to wake up and people like you are carrying the torch! Thank you for all the work you do to help keep us informed!

What would the consequences be (if any) if Georgia refuses to validate, or otherwise alters, the results of a fair election? Hopefully there is some recouse if they intend to hold the election hostage.

Thank you for mentioning the Lieutenant Governor. I live in Georgia (and a poll worker) and I feel like NOBODY REMEMBERS this guy was a fake elector.

You've written about where to donate to get the biggest bang for the buck, to win house and senate seats. Where shall I direct my Vote Forward letters, to encourage the most voters?

Actually, too big to rig might not work. Sate election officials have the authority to change the election result if they don't like it .
