People are so use to watching the crime shows on television, that they don’t realize justice is so not neatly tied up in one hour. The legal process is messy!

As a Canadian trying to make some sense out of everything that is and has been reported in connection with the special grand jury I read and research everything I can that may be applicable. Yet sometimes I still end up confused and frustrated.

Jay, your ability to impart knowledge of complicated and often convoluted points of law to the layman is what I reach for now, first, last, and in between. Only then do I pick up my other sources, but now with a better understanding of what I see.

Thank you so much for giving us this benefit so freely, even though you may never know in the end just how much of a difference it truly made.

Thank you for talking me off the ledge. 😆 Grabbing my flashlight, water bottle, and copy of the Constitution for our long-distance hike. And with a nod of gratitude for the life and example of Rep John Lewis.

We, common citizens, do not have the resources to deflect, delay and use every tool with a price to prolong the outcomes of investigations and probable prosecutions for crimes. It is hard to remain engaged when the daily reports of yet another source of that delay is revealed. The forewoman has not helped with the obviously flippant responses on something that may cause her real harm, to say nothing of potential harm to the process.

It becomes more and more apparent every day that we have one justice system for the wealthy and another for those who have limited resources. We, as a country, seem to be devolving into the same wealth class structure of the Gilded Age.

Thanks for the detail on the jury forewoman's instructions - it was so surprising to me that she spoke out, but now I understand.

Thank you for advocating for patience and talking us off the ledge. It seems like Waiting For Indictments is the latest endurance sport, and in you we have a capable coach.

Now how about team SWAG and maybe a song or cheer.

We can also collectively learn a new language or something while we wait...
