It is becoming increasingly difficult to avoid tarring every Republican with the Cruz Hawley Blackburn brush.

Yes it is Jerry, largely b/c only 2 Republicans of the whole lot have called those 3 out on their craze manner.

Also no one calling out Bobert and MTG on their deplorable self promoting antics either.

We can only hope for more “crash and burn” shenanigans to finish them off!

How telling that Ted Cruz likens Kavanaugh's sexual harassment of women to "teenage dating habits"! Just disgusting!

Until she's confirmed, I'm going to worry there she won't be. I hate to reflexively think Sinema and Manchin will find some (likely paid for) excusre to vote "no," but their prior peformance forces me to. Collins and Murkowski don't make me feel any better, especially the former, who has zero integrity left any longer.

The GOP never ceases to show their true colors they are disgusting I truly hope that those who support the Republican Party are also seeing what this party has become

and use their vote to show disapproval( I know wishful thinking)! I want to find it hard to believe that the people on the right are all so heinous as these people who are supposed to be representing them. When they can’t find facts they blow smoke and sadly so many people have fallen and run with their ridiculous talking points! The GOP has become the worst of the worst in America nothing surprises me anymore and sadly sole where along the way Americans stopped caring. The desensitized America is not a place I’m proud of anymore! I hope she gets approved I’m sure she will but sad what they put her thru in the long run, sadly they they can’t even give credit to a good person but protect a sick and twisted beer drinking rapist with all their being!! Says so much about who they are!

Justice Kavanaugh was defended by 30 plus women who had, of their own accord and not by his prompting, come forward to publicly state that they had known him over the course of 30 years or more and he had ALWAYS been supportive of and sensitive to their needs as women as well as respectful of them and fair in his treatment of them. The allegations made against him were proven to be unsubstantiated fantasy. Even the star witness was blurry and unsure of almost all of her extremely nebulous account of a frat party that happened 30 years ago. That is being VERY UNFAIR to someone just because he is from the other side of the political aisle. I'll even be will to bet Judge Kavanaugh would want Judge Jackson there. He has always been an advocate FOR WOMEN.

I wonder if they even realize how absolutely absurd they sound and look. Somewhere between a petulant child and an overly outraged Karen.

I take offense at the use of the term "Karen". I think it is RACIST. I am white. I grew up with a neighbor, another little white girl, named Karen. It is a predominantly a white girl name that you seem to be linking via race and name choice with negative character traits. Why would someone, who is presumably against racism, do that? I am a teacher and a mother. I love children and people of ALL races. I am a good person and as a white woman, I represent the majority of women in America. WHY would you want to alienate ME? I am on YOUR SIDE on some issues even though I am republican. Do you want that to CHANGE? I don't think it's in YOUR BEST INTEREST to alienate WHITE WOMEN from your cause. Do you?

I am a centrist republican school teacher and mom. I believe this Justice will be a good one. I find this article, however, to be an example of inflammatory rhetoric which is funny because it seems to complain about inflammatory rhetoric. As for Senator Cruz, I think perhaps he was giving Judge Jackson an honest explanation for some of the hostility she was receiving, although I do not think that he was being hostile, just rigorously honest. I look at Judge Jackson and I see a good woman who wants to interpret the law FAIRLY for ALL. I would give her my vote. AND I still think Lindsey Graham is a great guy, too... How 'bout 'dat, y'all? I say CONFIRM her. It doesn't matter what was done in the past, "BE the CHANGE you want to see in the world."
