The eclipse had everyone moonstruck at the beginning of the week. That included political commentators. When some religious zealots pressed the idea of the eclipse signaling the end of times, others took up the call. The crush of tourists to enjoy the eclipse in its full glory left many merchants and mayors in the viewing swath joyful. Not so much in Arkansas, though.
I can never choose between cats and dogs as I have both, these were LOL today. The Lego Starry Nights was a wow. Thank you for these wonderful giggles on Saturdays.
I just came home from a Buddhist exhibit at a museum in Bremen, Germany. This week a monk was there creating a mandala. My brother-in-law spent the whole time there observing the creation of the mandala. The mandala was erased today and little bags of sand were given to the observers. The monk talked about the purpose of the Mandala which I understood as to help there to be world peace. So thank you for your dana. That is for ending the week on such a humorous note. Always needed, always appreciated.
The best part of today’s Xeets and Giggles for me is the defeated expression on tffg’s face in the video where Johnson points to him as he refers to hardened criminals. 🤣
Excellent. The animals are usually my favorite, but the Brazilian kid who gave the first piece of cake to his brother.....my heart.
Lol, my favorite Xeet and Giggle this week was a giggle:
"Speaking of radicals, Speaker Mike Johnson, whose job hangs by an MTG thread..."
I liked it all so much today. But using a cat for background when your banking app says “use a darker background” is indescribably delightful.
👏👏👏👏 Just what I needed to head into the weekend! That video if Mike Johnson though, pointing to Trump....I almost passed out. 😂 THANK YOU!
The CAT! And the Golden Retriever (for the second week in a row)!! WINNERS!
And yes, I would be healed if Trump went to jail, too, especially if the Rapture occurred at the same time. Good riddance!
You’re the reason I wait for Saturday
The eclipse with Dark Brandon was a hoot! I had to watch it over and over.
Haha. Three more decent daily games from NYT and I wouldn't have time on my lunch break to eat my lunch.
These had me laughing OUTLOUD - Even spit out pieces of my eggless (tofu) salad sandwich onto my phone screen! Thanks for the much needed laughs!!
The dad joke reminded me of several others that I heard long ago. File these away for your kids.
When you swim in the sea and an eel bites your knee, that's a moray.
When two patterns entwine in a way serpentine, that's a moire.
When your vitamins be mostly C, D and E, take some more A!
Thanks again for all you do!

I can't believe I'm the third comment of the day!! So early. Thanks for the laughs
Don't blame that kitty from shying away from fuzzy-tongued morning breath...ewww!
