Thanks Jay—and for the first time in a LONG TIME I clicked on ex to watch that beeyotch get arrested, that made my day! Had to be somewhere in Florida as I recognized the Publix cart and her New England accent…to quote the x files: “all the nuts roll down to Florida!”
People stage stuff like that for online consumption all the time, just for the lulz.
(And I know real-life people like the woman in that sketch too, in fact I'm related to some. Which has nothing to do with whether or not a specific clip was staged.)
(a) We never get any glimpse of a police officer or police vehicle.
(b) An actual police officer would tell the woman to stop loading things into her car while interviewing her.
(c) An officer who'd decided to make a field arrest would not then do it alone, and wouldn't attempt to put handcuffs on her without having first searched her and her bag for weapons.
(d) Nothing in the incident as we hear it related suggests handcuffing as an SOP. And an officer who had decided that a suspect did need cuffing would not first ask to see some identification, LOL.
If you track down and watch the full video you see he did search her and her purse for weapons as well as asking her if she had any weapons, you see him cuffing her and you see her running her mouth being a beligerant bi##h the entire time. you also see video of her in the police car and still running her mouth about police brutality and still complaining about not being able to question the guy about his dog. The full video is like 12+ mins long
Is Eric Swalwell a national treasure or what!? I almost choked on that one. 😂 And Karen got my blood boiling!!! Love the animal clips... a beautiful way to start a Saturday. Thank you Jay. You're the best!
Three thoughts: 1. "House Republicans are the reason there are directions on shampoo." HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! It's the same reason there are warning labels on plastic bags.
2. With all the rampant misinformation out there, I sometimes think the internet was the worst thing to happen to our culture. Other times, someone adds music to an already hilarious clip and suddenly the clouds part, the sun shines through, another genius is born and I wonder how we ever lived without it.
3. The squirrel feeder was truly inspired, as was the greased pole. I needed that today. Thanks.
I only guessed because several years ago I saw a whole slew of videos using that part of the song as a soundtrack for a variety of tumbling things. They were all cute, but this one is definitely the most humorous.
I am still regularly astounded by the number of poorly educated in Congress. Nancy Mace wins the #1 spot this week. That is all. Thanks for another great Saturday Jay!!!
Thanks, Jay! I'm a retired high school English teacher who actually taught The Scarlett Letter, and I'm just shaking my head in consternation. I'm hoping some of my former students are as well.
I have to imagine animal cruelty, kicking a service dog, ranks up there with child abuse in "things that are not going to work out well for you in prison"
Actually I have to agree with another poster who said that video looked staged....the person behind the camera wasn’t acting as a cop would, the “Karen” seemed to be hamming it up...the only thing that made sense was that it was designed to go viral on social media.

Unforgivable mistake. Not a New England accent…..it’s a New York or New Jersey accent.
I'm not sure if it's NY or NJ. But I think we can all agree that it's a Bitch Karen accent.
Well it sure isn’t a southern accent.
Honestly that clip seems pretty obviously staged.
Probably not. That is seriously how some of those people act. Not all, certainly, but too many.
Okay, but why would someone stage that? Trust me, it’s real, I know people like this, unfortunately.

Paul: What makes you think it's staged? I'm not trying to be contrary - I'm genuinely curious because I tend to be clueless about such things.

Ah, well that would be a different picture. Do you have a link for that?
I found it on you tube.

Thanks for the explanation. That all makes a lot of sense.

We are not yet at an end stage Malthusian event if geese have seen and mastered Cleese's Ministry of Silly Walks. There is still hope.
Silly Walks?! Silly me! I thought he was just goose stepping. (I‘ll show myself out.)
That is actually the first time I have ever understood how that march became known as "goose-stepping".

I feel like the poster should have told everyone exactly what kind of grease was used.
TT falling down down….pure gold.
He really committed to it. I'm betting his tailbone is pretty sore.
A pain of the ass for a pain in the ass. Sounds like a good deal lol.
As soon as I saw the name Phil Collins I knew what musical background to expect to Tommy Tumbleville. Lololol.
I'm going with appreciating that not make a person evil, but merely having excellent taste in performance art.
This moment of karmic retribution has been the best part of my morning. If anyone deserves to be tripped up, it’s this disaster from Alabama.
I did not guess that! Seemed so obvious when the music started. Replacing the drums with the tumbling suitcase was brilliant.

Or she did give birth to Kevin McCarthy's secret love child. I've decided to believe that.
Bowen Yang as Mount St. Helen...YES, PLEASE!!! 😆🌋
Bowen Yang as just about anything, lol.
Luke Zaleski for the win.
Cheers!
Yes I did an evil laugh at TT. And then I laughed and smiled back at that incredibly chilled dog. I love these Saturday X & G’s. Thanks so much.

It’s certainly a good way to get everyone mad at you on the internet!

The shampoo comment is hilarious! But, we all know the MAGApublicans can’t read!😝
Or rather “won’t” read, due to fear of being woke 😂
Excellent, as always. That "Karen" pissed this Karen, all the way off.
WHY is the baby and mask thing so damn funny? I've watched like twenty times and can't stop laughin!
Because it looks like a live action version of something out of a looney toons cartoon?
YES! PERFECT!
I'm with you. I don't know why it's funny at all, but it is!
This has to be one of your best collections!! Thank you, I’ll be laughing all day.
That Dad joke wasn’t a joke - it’s just too flipping accurate at the mo!
