How is it that McCarthy’s is the only permission needed for the release of this footage to the media? I’d think the Capital police & Architect would have some say here, as well as the National Archives? And how many times has the GOP decried this practice by others? It won’t alter the basic story of insurrection anyway, unless we find some Proud Boys are petting kittens in a previously unseen hallway (fat chance). Except of course in the hands of tasered weasel Tucker Carlson, or any of the other gutter snipes on Fox. The security implications here are HUGE; McCarthy better hope Trump’s “special” people don’t give it another try-Kevin would be an accomplice. Since I first learned of this sometime yesterday, I think, I have been struggling with both the horror & the utter Revulsion I feel ... thinking "What is DOJ going to do about this ?" - they cannot just allow it to go forward, as is, solely in the possession of FOX News &, of all people, Tucker Carlson !!! You have given us some semblance of hope for Someone (!) to try for a "Stay" to delay whatever FOX is attempting to do with these 41,000 hours of footage.
