I was watching Vote Latino yesterday. She said when they went out and explained the differences between the parties stance on issues the polls rose by double digits in some places. Why is the DNC ignoring this portion of our population?
Jay, I don't know if you read these comments and I don't know how to tag you, but would you please consider editing the phrase "...fathered a child out of wedlock in 2009...". That leapt out at me because I believe it generally means that a child was born out of wedlock. The article uses that phrase about a child born that he fathered out of wedlock earlier that year. It uses the phrase "conceived out of wedlock" to characterize the situation with woman who had the abortion. Thank you!
Watched something last night on the far right election denying Republican candidates in several states who have prominent Republicans in those states actively campaigning against them. A good sign for me, but not for the GOP.
News sources here in AZ are saying that the races for the senate and governor are too close to call. Your article implies this is not the case. What makes you so certain? I would love some concrete reassurance.
I shouldn’t be shocked, but the ads that Vance is running against Tim Ryan are full of lies. Some will believe them and I have been told all politicians lie and therefore it doesn’t matter.
Makes me sick we could lose majority and any momentum we have going. Sadly democrats have no back bone and flip flop to easily our economy is recovering you can’t fix the damage done by trump in 2 years so dems will give up a seat and rights over a slow recovering economy I hope you are wrong Jay because that would just be pathetic.
Relax, Terry. Wrong attitude. You're showing how to be defeated before the first vote getting counted. Look, we collectively share this sentiment about how destructive GOP agenda are to our country in the past few years. I think all the sign is pointing toward a positive direction due to MAGA Trump endorsements for poor Republican candidates who advanced past the Primaries across the country. Let's all go vote in November! We can win for this coming Midterms!!!
Mitch was right, but he was also delusional when he thought he could keep control despite the previous occupant and since the bed tanned being's loss. Mitch wanted power and money. As they say, "Be careful of what you ask for." Mitch got what he wanted, but at what cost?
Mitch, like Justice Roberts, lost control of his crew the moment the orange septic tank was chosen to be their Republican candidate. It is sad when our elected officials choose to run to stay in office instead of focusing on what needs to be done to help those that elected them. The pandering to their base (be they loud or loaded with money) has benefitted a very small, self-serving minority. They rather focus on using buzz words and phrases designed to distract, make you angry and possibly reactive - CRT, illegal immigrants, defund the police, etc. instead of being informative (because that's too easy, may take too long or may expose the truths). Politicians rather whip their base into a frenzy with no real guidance, direction, and half-truths. To provide a complete picture with solid and truthful information would not serve their purpose. These same politicians rather push through or down anything that benefits the majority regardless of their political voice (Democrat, Republican, Independent, Can't/Won't vote).
When we start to truly level the playing field (get rid of the electoral college and zoning for voting power would be a great start) we might have a chance to clean up the mess created by both parties. It is obvious this two, sometimes 3 voting party system is passe and not working for those that need it to work. Politicians need to be honest with all of us and admit why they ran for the positions they are in - money and gifts from lobbyist; paid speaking engagements; superior healthcare; insider trading information; ability to travel to different places on our dime; etc. - all the while endorsing madness, things and or people that should not be supported while dodging the hard questions.
If I have not stated it before, I'm stating it now. Thank you, Kuo, for these articles. My blood pressure may rise on occasion but at least I know someone out there is keeping watch and sharing solid insightful thoughts. Keep doing you.
I have found through personal experiences in my area that Republicans love yard signs where Democrats don't care that much about them. Republicans I know who put up yard signs see them as provocative and challenging. They like it if they think people are disturbed by them. Democrats who love their candidate just as much don't see the need to advertise it.

Let’s not leave out the awful election-denying, forced-birthed Ted Budd in NC.
Help elect Cheri Beasley!! Thanks.
