There is increasing interest around the pivotal role Trump was urging former Vice President Mike Pence play on January 6, as set forth in the damning Eastman memo. Essentially, the White House and its allies were pressuring Pence to go far outside his constitutionally and legally prescribed role by nullifying the electoral votes of several swing states and throwing the contest to the House of Representatives, where the GOP holds a state delegation advantage. On these fake certification documents, evidently there were signers who were marked as "substitutes" for the original people. I want to know what the original people who refused to sign the fake documents have to say (who asked them, how was the question phrased, etc). On "Rachel" last night, they showed a clip of a reporter trying to interview one of the signers and they didn't want to talk. They told the reporter to talk to talk to somebody else.
Some Fact Checks that need to be done that have been nagging me:
1) The layout of the House at the Capitol has three walls between outside and the House Chamber. Just how loud would those "normal tourists" have to yell "Hang Mike Pence" before anyone in the chamber would have heard them? Note: The multiple walls between the outside walls and chambers was deliberately part original design of the Capitol so that those inside would not be disturbed.
2) The Capitol Visitors Center has been closed for COVID-19. How long? Before January 2021? If so there would be no tours for "normal tourists". So who were on the tours of January 5th? And who authorized them? Did they see areas of the Capitol building that "normal tourists" would not see?
Jay - Maybe you could do an article re Rachel Maddow's exposure of forged credentials by phony Republican "electors" in at least five key states? If accurate, would this not be legally vulnerable as election fraud and possible conspiracy?

I use that term presidential loosely when it comes to the defeated former guy as he is anything but presidential!
