The story continues to develop around the faked electoral certifications that groups of Republican officials and far-right partisans affixed their signatures to and sent to Congress in December of 2020, and the press and law enforcement are beginning to apply pressure. In Arizona, Wisconsin and Michigan in particular, members of the fraudulent elector groups are coming under intense scrutiny and some of them and their supporters aren’t taking it so well. Here’s a quick roundup:
Until someone is held accountable for this conspiracy, they have no incentive not to try again, learning from their failure, putting those who will help in key positions so they do not fail again. It is very hard to maintain any sense of hope. You help, Jay, but I still fear for the future.
I am getting so tired of these mediocre, unethical, stop-at-nothing con artists! I am holding on to the hope that they will all be brought to justice, but then again even this little shimmer of hope is dwindling given their infiltration into the judiciary. It is like COVID-19 - wide-spread across the Globe, and just when you think it can be brought under control, a new, crazy variant pops up.
This was clearly a part of a conspiracy to steal the election by providing Pence with alternative sets of electors in key states and it will certainly be nice if those who orchestrated this are all charged with Seditious Conspiracy. But I don't understand the logic of not charging all the signers of these documents with fraud and taking them to court?. We have their names and the documents they signed.
Then, offer deals to anyone who steps forward with details of who orchestrated this in the White House.
Waiting until conspiracy can be proved will have all the impact of the Mueller report.
