It’s been nearly a year since federal agents conducted a raid on former Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani’s home and office and seized numerous of his electronic devices.
While the latest story about Giuliani's lawyer making a big deal about his client *finally* cooperating in coming up with likely passwords for three of the 5-6 electronic devices that investigators haven't yet been able to open (and playing this as his lack of guilty conscience), to me this has exactly the opposite meaning. 1) If he had no concerns, then why did it take so long for his cooperation? And 2) What about the remaining 2-3 devices that he has NOT helped with? Isn't it likely that he limited his most nefarious activity to just 1-2 phones in order to reduce chances of mistakes and discovery? And would he not use burner phones (like *trump) for his riskiest activities, and probably have trashed those in anticipation of a raid? Rather than imply his innocence, I think these questions reveal more reason for doubt than belief.
