Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) is the latest GOP official and sometime Trump ally to experience scrutiny over his role in the attempted overturning of the 2020 presidential election. Per reporting by The Washington Post, the January 6 Commission wants to know what if any communications Sen. Cruz had with Trump’s attorney, John Eastman, who was the author of an infamous plan to stage a soft coup on January 6 using Vice President Pence to declare the election for Trump.
Don't forget Rand Paul's possible consideration. I at least want to know that he is also sweating, tossing & turning at night, thinking about it, too...
Or jetting off to the Maldives with its no extradition law to board an Oligharch's Super Yacht.
It is getting harder to determine what is bigger - Cruz's stupidity or his hubris?
If he is subpoenaed then could he invoke executive privilege? (I do not really think so) Or just the 5th? And if he does could he be disbarred?
Just how hot is it going get for him?
