I think the biggest obstical prosecuters will face is to show criminal intent. Beyond that, they seem to have a solid enough case to put Trump and Co. in serious jeopardy of jail time.

Treason, like using China to steal an election will get you the death penalty. I recall when Obama was first installed almost every dem he wanted to appoint had to pay back taxes because they didn't even file, but none of them got prison. Basically the dems have turned this country into a banana republic. There is no rule of law anymore, its just super corrupt and the DOJ and IRS and all the others basically prosecuted based on your political affiliation
