Wow, curious to know when you lived there. I owned a house in the Excelsior district for years but it was a long time ago. Not as exciting as a house at the end of Uranus. It was more like a house just before the Mission district gets interesting. I also lived in a Hayes Valley loft for some time. I used to walk to the Safeway on Castro all the time because I didn't bother owning a car when I lived in that area. Trying to find parking in Hayes Valley turned me into a monster. Best to just rent a car when I wanted to go out of town.
I may have even run with a few people in the same crowd, at least on the periphery. When I lived in Hayes Valley, the backs of the buildings in my immediate space had an Armistead Maupin vibe to them. We'd gather in these little areas between buildings and BBQ and tell stupid jokes. Fond memories, and times weren't insane. I miss both aspects of that era.
Wish I could attend, but I'll be there in spirit, enjoying a brisk walk along the Embarcadero.

• Trump has unleashed his Gestapo federal agents on U.S. citizens. U.S. citizens are being accosted, physically harmed, arrested and detained.

Our disgusting conservative-led Supreme Court has granted Trump immunity from crimes he has committed and from the crimes he will be committing.
Republican Senators and Republican Members of the House of Representatives are doing nothing to stop Trump from committing illegal acts, unconstitutional acts, crimes against the American People. They are doing nothing, at all, to hold Criminal Trump accountable for his violations of the U.S. Constitution. Did they not take an oath “to protect and defend the U.S. Constitution”?

I want my dollars to go where there's a good chance of victory -- and apparently didn't actually have a very good chance of winning. Somewhere there is a list of elections where donations can make a difference, and donations are well-spent. I can't remember who that is. Do you know? Can you/can you find someone who can do this for us?
