Heather Cox Richardson recently said that polls were a form of disinformation these days. It seems that every political trend that happened in the past is out the window. I quit paying attention to them a few weeks ago and my mental health improved greatly.

You were right & are right this morning Jay. No red wave. I have not see the hard data yet but, but Gen Z may have saved our Country. I know Gen Z was important for the new Governor-elect of Massachusetts, the first Woman Governor of Massachusetts MAURA HEALEY! Redemption Song.

Excellent analysis, Jay. My thought is people did not want to go with the way pundits said it was going to happen. “Nobody tells me what is important to me” may be the rallying cry heard around the nation.

Yeah, but Lauren Boebert in Colorado is losing! Prediction: we hold the house by 1 or 2 seat's. 🤞

Definitely gives me a good feeling moving forward. Now it's up the Dems to put up a candidate who can beat DeSantis, because I doubt Trump will win the bid against DeSantis.

Jay - you have been my lifeline these last couple of weeks. My nerves couldn't take regular tv last night, so appreciated your up to the minute news and forecasts. Love our Team Blue Family!

Appreciate your work. I find it difficult to understand any support by voters for the GOP and feel it could only be because they are being deliberately misinformed and believing outright lies. You bring truth and explanation to the table which I appreciate. Thank you.

What is wrong with Ohioans? I live here and am so depressed. We’ve lost Tim Ryan and the Governor is still Dewine. I haven’t had the heart to check out much more but I do know that a democrat won a state senate seat. Are people here that insane?

I worked the polls in Mi and in my precinct the in person Dem voters outnumbered the Repubs by quite a bit. The precinct I worked leans slightly blue (Wayne county in general leans blue) but they were surprised that the Dems outnumbered the Repubs by that much for in person votes. Lots of young people is one thing I noticed. I honestly don't know what the absentee counts were for Mi but when I saw Whitmer out ahead at poll closed I knew she probably had it :)

Smiling in Oregon. Everyone should be fighting hard to switch to voting by mail.

Breathing a bit of relief this morning but still appalled at Georgia Walker and MTG REALLY, and Colorado what are they thinking. MTG and Boebert seriously are complete useless in their seats they have done nothing in 2 years except pad their pockets and spread hate and lies smh 🤦🏻‍♀️ so disgusting their states are so blind, another 2 years of their stupidity I just don’t think I can cope.

Thank you, Jay, for keeping me from jumping out the window last night. I was basically clued to your Facebook page clinging to your words of wisdom and calm. One big disappointment, other than Stacy Abrams not winning, is that the Walker/Warnock race is so close. How can anyone vote for Walker when even his own son called him out on his hypocrisies, lies and total BS? And vote for him over Warnock - a man with integrity, intelligence and ethics? Even the Big Orange Grifter did not win the popular vote - not even close. And here we are in Georgia where nearly 50% of the voters clicked the box for Walker?!! How is that possible?
