Jay, what a masterful synopsis of what is happening. It reads something like an intriguing spy novel but in real time.

I can’t believe you kept going with this after the death of your beloved mother. We can’t thank you enough. ♥️

A good analysis, thanks for this. I continue to be mystified how Trump slips out of criminal charges again and again; rhis helped me understand why it's not likely he'll be charged with insurrection. [Sad face]

I feel that a number of House reps should be charged with insurrection though.

Thank you for doing this Jay. Please though spend the rest of the year with your family, celebrating your mother's life. Your tribute to her, as well as your sisters, was beyond touching. I hope you find peace and comfort in the coming days and weeks.

What are the chances of various reps who voted against certifying Biden’s win in various states will be charged under the 14th Amendment, Section 3? Those folk out to have been removed two years ago, and that some have been re-elected and need to re-take that Oath is the height of hypocrisy.

Thank you Jay, for continuing this work. Sometimes it's best to work on something so that's your only focus. I enjoy reading your pieces and the little glimpses into your private life. Give Shade and Hudson a hug for me.

With the preponderance of evidence - even some of which we may still not be aware - clearly demonstrating guilt on all three charges, the toughest words of your fine analysis to take are "Be patient."

Jay, is there any chance that DoJ is relooking the Mueller investigation? There were (and are) a lot of signs that point to Putin, and I, for one, would really like Bill Barr's bandage over that festering sore ripped off and all of the corruption beneath it revealed. https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/donald-trump/did-mueller-mean-trump-could-be-indicted-when-he-leaves-n1033901

Thank you so much for this breakdown. I'm afraid to be hopeful, though ...

"In the end, it would come as a surprise if at least two of the three charges that the Committee has recommended are ultimately not brought, and it is quite possible that all three will be."

I think I just felt my heart break.
