I think we have to be even more engaged in 2022 that we were in 2020. Knowing what we know now about Republicans, in general, the insurrection and their dangerous response to it, we are literally hanging by a thread. My fear is, Americans are getting increasingly lazy and complacent. It's how we got stuck with the former guy in the first place. The media pushing the myth of both sides are the same, bullshit, is not only irresponsible, lazy journalism, but as we've now seen, it's incredibly dangerous. We need journalists to finally step up fully and do their damned jobs, ratings and political blowback be damned. We need networks like CNN to stop putting the likes of Christie and Santorum on their shows. Liars should not be given a microphone. We need voters to also demand better of the candidates running for office. The fact that Caitlyn Jenner is running for Governor in CA, proves my point. I have no idea how that bogus "audit" in AZ is even allowed to happen, let alone go on for this long, with the DOJ seemingly throwing up its hands and saying there's nothing they can do. It still feels like there's no one really looking out for us regular people. Even the Senate Democrats are pissing me off. And why can't Speaker Pelosi do something about Matt Gaetz and the other criminal elements in the House. Sorry for the rant, but, I'm really scared about where our country is headed.

While this is good news for the Dems, we must not relax. As they have demonstrated, they will exploit every tiny crack. Be encouraged that we still greatly outnumber them even though their shouting is louder. Keep working quietly but diligently.
