I believe the President's approval ratings are a direct result of our incompetent media. They loathe to report any good news or accomplishments of this administration, which have been massive. They thrive on chaos and division, and they do everything they can to keep the public pissed off. As far as the deadbeat ceiling goes, yes, McCarthy will face the ire of his party if he does the right thing, but President Biden and the democrats will face a much bigger problem if they cave to these hostage takers. We have had enough of everyone trying to appease the Republicans. They are literally less than 35% of the country, but we cower and try to placate their every whim, for fear of pissing them off. The media has them on all of the shows, spewing their lies with no pushback. Democrats let the media lead the story when they're on those shows, instead of taking the lead themselves and pushing back on the lies from Republicans and the lack of perspective from the media. Democrats should be way more worried about pissing us off than the maga base. I'm sure tonight will be interesting, to say the least. I'm sure Kevin will allow his members to heckle the President and apparently, he's let the President know he does want his party referred to as extreme maga Republicans. I'm sick to death of all of this. Something needs to break through this madness. I'm just not sure what that is.

The GOP oversaw a 25% expansion of the national debt during Trump's term.

I am beyond sick of these seriously flawed polls getting so much attention.

While you, Jay, are eloquent and beneficent in your characterization of McCarthy and clan, I will be far less altruistic as my tolerance for their antics has redlined, and simply note that simpering, limply ambitious hollow mascot McCarthy and his bulldog ruffian ignoramuses have absolutely no place within our legislature, wasting our time, dollars and neurons.

Time for indulgence is over. By whatever judicial, Constitutional or other [legal] means at our disposal, for the love of all that ia holy, please let's dispense with the lunacy.

Enough.

The fact that the expression of "drawing a line in the sand" is in sand and not concrete implies flexibility through negotiation. But this, too, may be a concept that is beyond the head-in-the-sand understanding of our Republican neighbors.

POTUS should bring someone stiffed by #45 for work on his property and whose business suffered as a result to the SOTU as an example to the idiots. Preferably a mom and pop operation...

Ugh. To think that the likes of Bobo, MJG, or even McFly have any true grasp of complex budgeting, fiscal policy, monetary policy, taxation, etc., is an unbearable stretch. I bet they do not know that our government also happens to be the largest employer in the US.

As always, I love your presentation - both the facts and the style. This is a very big deal. Question is, how can we get it heard by those who aren't already in the choir. Any ideas?

No, NATO and the USA *are not the same thing*. Finland and Sweden applying to join was all to do with Russian aggression and nothing to do with Biden. In fact, if Biden really cared he would have pressured Turkey about their outrageous veto.
