The start of hearings by the House Committee investigating the insurrection and riot of January 6 was, at least by all normal accounts, compelling, damning and history-making. Faced with four police officers—the epitome of the “blue” that the GOP is supposed to “back”—the GOP now finds itself scrambling for a coherent response, particularly given two of the most eloquent and outspoken Committee members—Reps. Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger, are themselves Republicans.
If it was who they claim it was, the Republicans would have been demanding an investigation, right away. Another thought, who protests an election they won? We won, "Antifa" won. Besides, they have cell phone tracking (facts, I know) showing trump's supporters leaving his rally, which no self respecting "antifa" member or BLM person would have been able to stomach for even the noblest of causes, heading towards the Capitol to carry out his explicit orders, stop the steal. I want to see everyone remotely involved, up to and including trump himself, in prison for this attack. If that doesn't happen, this will happen again and it will be successful.

The claim is that Antifa is disguising themselves as fringe right groups to discredit them. No one is suggesting that Antifa is attacking the capitol and taking credit as Antifa. Now, don't get me wrong, this claim is a ridiculous, intentional lie, but that's why some Republicans are putting it forth.
The Proud Boys and 3%ers had already conspired to make it look like AntiFa was the group invading the Capitol Building. They intentionally didn't wear the Proud Boys yellow decorated black polo shirts. They dress in all black pretending to be Black Block so as to lay the blame. People like Ingraham knew this so her promoting this idea so early in the situation makes her a coconspirator.
This made me go back and read the definition of schizophrenia. I am not a doctor of any kind, but don’t think a mental health diagnosis applies to this mass of crazies though. That would be an insult to people with mental health conditions, especially those willing to see and address their needs.

As far as 'normal tourist visit' is concerned the Capitol has not open for normal visitors since March 2020 due to the pandemic.
