Thank you for another amazing opinion that must look like it's written in a "secret code" to anyone of the 130 million people between 16 and 74 in this country who read "at or below a 6th grade level."

Thanks for the explanation. It's annoying that the media (at least TV news) is treating this like a valid response and ignoring the cartoonish ineptitude involved in generating it. Nice to see that Cheetolini continues to scrape the bottom of the barrel for legal representation (funny how having a history of being a whiny pain in the butt and refusing to pay can limit the candidate pool . . .).

The only purpose that I can tell for the filing is to get more money from his base. He uses everything now to ask for money. Lawrence O'Donnell likes to read his emails that he gets asking for money. Every time it's urgent and they must give now. It seems like a desperate man that knows he's going down and tries to get all that can before he does. The only thing I'm surprised though is that Florida doesn't require an affidavit to be filed with motions. I assume that these lawyers didn't want their licenses suspended for misconduct like Giuliani. Otherwise, that's SOP.

I am still disappointed that 40% want the investigations to stop. I keep hoping for a much lower percentage with this regard and a higher one of people who want to get to the bottom of this Conman's & his cronies' criminal acts.

Thanks for the clarity as usual. Everything Trump does is a sideshow. It always worked for him as a private citizen but is useless in the courts as he keeps finding out. As for the MAGA base, well...

All of this causes one to wonder just how much damage he has done to this country. I’m almost afraid to find out.

Based on Donald's legal filings so far, it would seem that if his lawyers are doing their work pro bono, then they're overcharging him.

Ari Melber (on MSNBC) guest on Aug 20 was lawyer Jon Sale who rejected having TFG as a client. (Good for him). But Sale offered the advice that he would have asked for a special master to go through the documents first thing. He should have charged TFG for this free advice.

One clarification:

"Normally, when you appear for the first time in civil court, you file a complaint that sets forth what you want. Or if it’s a true emergency, then you file a motion for a temporary restraining order or preliminary injunction ..."

In an emergency, you file both a complaint and a motion for TRO or PI. I would insert the word "also" before "file a motion" to make that clear.

(This might seem counterintuitive — in an emergency, are you really going to be able to draft a comprehensive complaint? But a litigant typically can amend a complaint as the case progresses.)

My guess? He's made some promises to some "other" people with regard to those docs...and now his kneecaps are under threat....or possibly some other sensitive body parts and spoons come to mind.

Is it really a "matter of national importance?" Maybe just a distraction and entertainment for the masses? No one seems to be examining what is really going on in/with the courts. Endless fraud, simulation of the proceedings, deception. I have so many examples. Here, just one: https://1dissident.substack.com/p/corrupt-michael-mcshane-of-federal
