Glad you got to hang around after the COVID bout to spend time with your family. Hope all the prep for Allegiance goes smoothly. The upcoming deep dive into the next SCOTUS craziness sounds ominous. Keep up the good work!!!
My husband and I did a brief touristy tour of England in 1995.....so much history to see and learn about and not enough time. Good luck with your musical...how can it miss with George Takei?!
Ah, Daunt Books. Places like that never fail to remind me that we were told 30 or so years ago that the advent of home computers would be the death knell of physical books. I am profoundly pleased that they were wrong!
I want to move into that bookstore. Happy you got to spend time with family in my home country and that your brush with covid was brief and uneventful. Have a safe flight back to this crazy place and Hudson!
Holy cats, that book palace looks amazing! So glad you’ve been enjoying your time with family. Many thanks for all your time and labor to keep us updated on current events even during your travels! I’m in NC and following Moore v. Harper with great interest and concern.
Thank you Julie Daul; in unchartered Constitutional waters, it is always useful to reference Lighthouses at oral argument in the form of Constitutional questions. We can expect Justice Sotomayor to ask such questions at oral arguments on Moore v Harper this Wednesday.
I'm sure that with your and George's dedication and energy, Allegiance will work out just fine and wow the British audience. I've never had that great a desire to visit London, but that Daunt bookstore could be enough to change my mind.

Your show will be great! Loved the years I lived in England.

I’m with you about Daunt Books--what a wonderful place!
Thanks for the latest essay. It makes me remember and miss London.
Hoping you have a wonderful holiday and a healthy prosperous New Year!

Photographer, definitely not!
Congratulations on the opening of Allegiance and the incredible George Takei in London!
Congrats on your upcoming show, Jay! You are a true polymath. Enjoy your London sojourn. It is a fabulous cosmopolitan city.
Does England have Christmas markets like Germany? If so, you'll love it!
